Veolia in the United States is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at multiple client facilities. You will assist in training local teams, ensure compliant operation, perform process changes, and support start-ups.

This role requires significant travel, often 1–2 weeks or longer, with day and night shifts, and hands-on plant supervision, data recording, and lab sampling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple Veolia contracted client water and wastewater facilities, covering vacations & absences.
• Assist in training and development of local operations teams and support new account start-ups.
• Perform process changes to meet compliance, troubleshoot processes & equipment, and conduct sampling and lab testing.
