Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a traveling Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across multiple facilities. You will assist in training local teams and support new account start-ups. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining facilities, troubleshooting, sampling, data recording, and ensuring compliance.

Significant travel up to a month may be required. This role requires flexibility with shifts, safety compliance, and collaboration with the SWOT team to develop

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia operated facilities during vacations/absences.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training visits and electronic training materials for technicians.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices in lab testing, maintenance, and SOPs.
• Provide support to new account start-ups with SWOT team; train technicians.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with team to make proactive decisions.
• Operate pumps, valves, and motors to control flows in WWTPs.
• Collect and test wastewater samples and record data accurately.
• Comply with safety programs and regulatory reporting as required.
