Veolia Group’s Water Technology division seeks a traveling Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at client wastewater facilities. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting processes, equipment, and labs, with frequent site travel.

You will train local technicians, develop training materials, ensure safety, and coordinate with the SWOT team on start-ups. The position requires 3+ years in wastewater operations, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia operated facilities during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Assist in operational development and training of local technicians; develop training materials.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices at all facilities.
• Support new account start-up projects with SWOT team; train newly hired technicians.
• Operate pumps/valves to regulate wastewater flow; collect and test samples.
