Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover multiple facilities within the designated region, including travel between sites. You will assist in training local teams, oversee routine and preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with lab procedures and safety programs.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on occasion. You will operate pumps and valves, collect samples, analyze data, and coordinate with the SWOT team on

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalents.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to wastewater treatment processes.
• Operational experience in a traveling work role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain coverage of Veolia-operated facilities in the region during vacations and absences.
• Develop training materials and coach local technicians.
• Ensure industry standards, lab procedures, and preventive maintenance are followed.
• Support new account startups and training of technicians.
• Troubleshoot process issues and optimize plant operations.
• Operate pumps, motors and valves to regulate wastewater flow.
• Collect and test wastewater samples and keep accurate records.
