Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across multiple facilities in the region. You will train local technicians, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure compliance with treatment standards.

The role requires travel, hands-on operation and maintenance of wastewater systems, and coordination with the SWOT team for start-ups and improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations or related field.
• Willingness to travel traveling in multiple sites and regions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and absences, including day and night shifts.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training and electronic resources for local technicians.
• Provide technical support to troubleshoot process issues and optimize treatment performance.
• Operate and control pumps, valves, and motors to regulate wastewater flow and perform sampling.
