Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover multiple client facilities, providing hands-on operation, maintenance, and training across the region. The role requires travel for extended periods and shifting coverage during vacations and absences.

You will perform process changes to meet compliance, collect samples, maintain electronic records, and support start-ups with the SWOT team. Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new processes.
• Willingness to travel as required by travel-heavy role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities across designated region during vacations and absences.
• Train and develop local technicians with hands-on visits and materials.
• Ensure compliant lab testing, record keeping, and safety practices at all times.
• Coordinate with VW management and SWOT team on start-ups and projects.
• Troubleshoot process issues and optimize plant performance.
