Job summary

Veolia in the United States is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at multiple water treatment facilities in your region. You will train local operators, support start-ups, and help ensure safety, compliance, and reliable plant operation.

This role requires extensive travel (1–4 weeks away) and hands-on review of processes, lab sampling, maintenance planning, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google suite.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn site-specific equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage at Veolia facilities in the region during vacations and absences.
• Develop and deliver training resources for water and wastewater staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Support start-up projects and assist with troubleshooting and reporting.
• Coordinate with management to optimize plant performance.
