Job summary

Stantec seeks a Regional Sector Leader for Water Supply & Watershed Management to guide the US North portfolio, spanning the Midwest to New England. You will shape strategy, grow technical capabilities, and collaborate with clients to win and deliver complex water projects.

Reporting to the North America Water Sector Leader, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage risk, and advance Health, Safety and Environment while strengthening client relationships across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in water resources engineering, civil/environmental engineering, hydrology, hydrogeology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree is preferred for this leadership role.
• 15+ years of directly relevant experience in water resources/watershed management.
• Professional certification/registration (PE, PH, PG, etc.) in appropriate area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams conducting water resources planning projects throughout the US North Region.
• Perform and/or lead technical evaluations supporting planning and design of integrated water supply and infrastructure projects.
• Provide leadership to internal water supply & watershed management practitioners.
• Reinforce our external brand as a leader in water supply & watershed management through active participation in industry organizations and client communications.
• Identify and support wins of strategic pursuits in collaboration with local leaders and account managers.
• Engage with sector leaders and regional growth teams to align resources with projects and pursuits.
