Qualifications

• Minimum of five years outside sales experience in water distribution or related field.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to travel about 50% (3–4 days/week with an office day).
• Ability to cover large geographic territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs to demonstrate products.

Responsibilities

• Call on end product users and distributors to promote products and grow sales.
• Provide quotations, training, technical support, and resolve delivery issues for distributors.
• Deliver product training to end users and distributors to strengthen specs.
• Set sales goals and objectives to meet the budget.
• Identify bid opportunities and provide project details and pricing strategies.
• Provide after-sale service including warranty and claims management.
• Participate in trade organizations and provide monthly forecasts and market updates.
