Job summary

Core & Main seeks a sales consultant to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers, driving profitable growth in our waterworks product lines. You will work to achieve yearly sales goals, prospect for new accounts, retain customers, and increase opportunities with current clients.

This role requires operation of a company or personal vehicle and an MVR check. A BS/BA in a related field and 2–5 years of experience are typical, with some areas requiring certification.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and generally 2–5 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site customer visits with new and existing customers, manages sales volume with an existing group of customers, and expands the customer base.
• Forecasts, prospects, and bids for new business including customers, markets, and additional service opportunities.
• Maintains existing and builds new customer partnerships, developing and sustaining sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
