Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling seeks a Construction Specialist to cover a region, identifying leads and sales opportunities for commercial, industrial, and recycling services. You will meet with prospective clients, deliver compelling presentations, and close deals while using CRM tools to track activity and progress, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

The role requires a couple of years in a customer-facing sales position, with preference for waste industry experience and contractor

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (outside business to business) with a proven track record of success.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
• Experience contracting with contractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads and acquire new commercial, industrial, and recycling clients.
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales.
• Manage prospects using sales tools and document activities daily.
• Meet with Regional Sales Manager to review prospects and progress toward goals.
• Prepare complex proposals outlining services and opportunities for growth.
• Track monthly, quarterly, and annual sales activities and reporting.
