Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Construction Specialist to drive new business in an assigned geographic area. The role involves identifying leads, presenting our full suite of services, and closing sales with key decision makers within commercial and industrial sectors.

The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and requires strong CRM and MS Office skills. You will regularly meet with the Sales Manager to review prospects, track activity, and adjust strategies to exceed revenue

Qualifications

Two years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven track record.
Waste industry experience preferred.
Contracting industry experience preferred.
Strong computer and CRM proficiency.

Responsibilities

Identify leads and acquire new profitable commercial, industrial, and recycling business.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients; follow up with key decision makers to close sales
Meet with Sales Manager to review weekly prospects, sales activities, and status of key accounts
Prepare complex proposals identifying services and lines of business; recommend equipment optimization
Communicate pricing and service strategies with regional management to implement action plans
Maintain monthly tracking and sales reporting; ensure information is complete and timely
