Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Regional Director of Operations – Warehouse to drive end-to-end 4-wall operations across multiple sites. You will lead Site Leaders, optimize automated systems, and deliver sustainable performance in high-volume facilities.

You will own labor planning, safety culture, and SOP adherence while coordinating with HR for staffing and growth. Travel of up to 75% may be required to support regional sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse or distribution center operations with multi-site responsibility (a must).
• Proven experience managing full-service (4-wall) warehouse operations, not limited to transportation or logistics coordination.
• Direct operational leadership experience in automated distribution or fulfillment environments with hands-on automation tech experience (conveyor, AS/RS, robotics/AMRs, WMS/WCS/WES).
• Demonstrated success leading large teams (100+ indirect reports across multiple sites).
• Strong background in high-volume distribution environments (retail, grocery, e-commerce, or similar).
• Experience owning P&L or cost center performance.
• Proven record of improving productivity, throughput, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Experience launching new facilities, scaling operations, or turning around operations.
• Must be able and willing to travel 50%–75%+ if needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive full ownership of 4-wall warehouse operations across multiple sites and ensure consistent receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Maximize operational efficiency using KPIs (CPH, UPH, dock-to-stock, order cycle time).
• Lead and optimize automated warehouse ops, including conveyors, AS/RS, goods-to-person, robotics/AMRs, and WMS/WCS/WES.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy, quality control, and operational discipline.
• Lead Site Leaders, Operations Managers, and Supervisors across the region.
• Establish SOPs and best practices across all locations.
• Own regional labor planning and staffing models to meet targets.
• Drive safety-first culture and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and performance reviews to drive improvement.
• Manage regional P&L and cost control targets; plan toward budgeted sales and margins.
• Collaborate with HR on hiring, retention, and workforce planning.
• Communicate and resolve escalated issues with partners; maintain service levels.
• Provide regional insights on performance, risks, and opportunities to Senior Leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement using data and lean methods across sites.
• Support new site startups, transitions, and turnarounds as needed.
