Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Regional Director of Operations for 4-wall warehouse operations across a multi-site region. You will drive operational excellence, oversee receiving, put-away, inventory control, order fulfillment and shipping, and lead teams to meet productivity targets.

The role requires hands-on leadership, optimizing automation, implementing SOPs, and guiding labor planning and safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site warehouse or distribution center operations.
Proven experience managing full-service 4-wall warehouse operations; not limited to transportation.
Hands-on experience with warehouse automation technologies such as conveyors, AS/RS, goods-to-person, robotics/AMRs, and WMS/WCS/WES.
Demonstrated success leading large teams (100+ indirect reports across multiple sites).
Experience owning P&L or cost center performance.
Willingness to travel 50-75% or more.

Responsibilities

Drive ownership of 4-wall warehouse operations across multiple sites.
Maximize operational efficiency using KPIs (CPH, UPH, dock-to-stock, order cycle time).
Lead automated warehouse operations including conveyor and sortation systems, AS/RS, goods-to-person, robotics/AMRs, and WMS/WCS/WES to improve throughput.
Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy, quality control, and operational discipline across all facilities.
Lead Site Leaders, Operations Managers, and Supervisors regionally.
Establish and enforce SOPs and best practices across all warehouse locations.
Own regional labor planning, workforce optimization, and staffing models.
Drive a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety policies.
Conduct regular site visits, operational audits, and performance reviews.
Manage and deliver against regional P&L and cost control targets.
Plan, implement, and execute strategies to achieve budgeted sales, pricing, and gross margin objectives.
Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce planning.
Communicate and resolve escalated operational issues, ensuring strong partner relationships.
Provide regional insights on performance, risks, and opportunities to Senior Leadership.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data, metrics, and lean methodologies.
Support new site startups, transitions, and operational turnarounds as needed.
