Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Regional Vice President of Affordable Housing Operations in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee a portfolio of residential properties, guide Regional Managers, and drive operational excellence while ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and strategic development across multiple properties, with significant travel and a focus on building strong internal teams and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in property management operations will be considered in place of formal education.
• Experience working as a Regional Manager in Multifamily Affordable Housing operations is required, with strong understanding of site-level operations, client engagement, and regional leadership.
• Demonstrated success in managing teams, supporting operational performance, and fostering client satisfaction across multiple properties.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Industry certifications such as CAM, CAPS, CPM, HCCP, COS, TCS or other are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional portfolio day-to-day operations and financial performance.
• Support Regional Managers in budgeting, capital projects, and issue resolution.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements across the region.
• Lead regional business reviews and represent the company in client meetings and industry events.
• Travel 25–50% of the time to properties, conferences, and training sessions.
