Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Regional Vice President to oversee financial, operational, and compliance performance of an affordable housing portfolio across multiple markets. You will lead Regional Managers, set regional direction, and partner with ownership and asset management to achieve portfolio goals.

The role requires 8+ years in property management, strong LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 knowledge, and senior leadership experience.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive property management experience, multi-site oversight
Experience with affordable housing compliance LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 required
Certifications (CPM/HCCP/COS) a plus and Fair Housing certification within 7 days

Responsibilities

Own financial and operational health of regional portfolio (NOI, occupancy, AR/AP)
Set regional strategy and communicate priorities to Regional Managers
Review/approve annual budgets, variances, and reforecasts
Partner with asset management on capital planning and asset strategy
Lead regional leadership meetings and investor reporting
Develop portfolio action plans and drive corrective actions for underperforming properties
Ensure portfolio-wide compliance with LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 and regulations
Hire/coaching of Regional Managers and ongoing performance reviews
Oversee site visits and inspections; ensure timely reporting and readiness
