Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Temporary Regional Field Liaison in Service Extension to support regional volunteers and unit representatives. You will help implement policies, manage campaigns, and ensure the mission is carried out with integrity.

Expect to travel up to 500 miles per week, coordinate with local leaders, train volunteers, and handle logistics for the Red Kettle Campaign while maintaining compliance with program standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks: position requires a background check.
• Experience: 3–5 years in public relations or communications; 2 years non-profit.
• Certifications: valid driver’s license; Safe From Harm training within 30 days.
• Skills: English communication; able to use Microsoft Office; drive up to 500 miles weekly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with unit representatives, chairperson, and volunteers.
• Learn the Golden program and input field data during the Annual Red Kettle Campaign.
• Recruit, engage, train, and manage volunteers for the Red Kettle Campaign region.
• Monitor kettle equipment and ensure safety and functionality.
• Travel up to 500 miles per week to support regions.
• Provide formal presentations using manuals, brochures, and PowerPoint.
