The Salvation Army, Gettysburg PA (Home Office), is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee Service Extension programs and fundraising for a multi-county region. This full-time role reports to the Director of the Service Extension Department and starts immediately.

The position requires a home-office setup, willingness to travel, and alignment with the Army’s mission. Benefits include generous paid time off, health coverage, pension, and optional insurance programs.

Competenze

• Must be willing to establish and maintain a dedicated office at home.
• Active in local Community Service Organization and/or Church Organization
• Residence within the assigned service region is strongly preferred due to extensive travel and field-based responsibilities.
• Requires a High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Must be willing and able to travel regularly throughout the assigned region. A valid driver’s license and approval to operate a Salvation Army vehicle are required.
• As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.
• Meet the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153, including the PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check.
• Must possess an understanding of and support for the mission of The Salvation Army.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership for fundraising efforts in the assigned region.
• Monitor Service Extension Programs and ensure internal controls on funds, vehicles, wills, and other legal documents.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and committee chairs.
• Visit all Service Units within the assigned area.
• Assist with annual budget development and ensure effective marketing and public relations activities.
• Develop and implement new programs and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Attend Service Unit meetings and regional events.
• Actively participate in United Way meetings and community service groups.
• Maintain accurate records and train volunteers in proper record-keeping.
