Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare seeks a Regional Veterinary Technician Trainer to support hospital teams within the Hill Country Region, traveling up to 80% to provide hands-on training and mentorship. You will partner with regional leadership to align training with Thrive standards and clinical excellence.

You bring 4–6 years as a credentialed veterinary technician, strong communication and EI, and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–6 years of clinical experience as a credentialed veterinary technician.
• Eligible to transfer credentials to Texas (CVT, LVT, RVT or LVMT).
• Minimum of 2 years in training, leadership, or management roles.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify skill gaps and development priorities with regional hospital leadership.
• Provide tools, training, and feedback to support onboarding and upskilling plans.
• Deliver coaching, mentorship, and professional development across the region.
• Mentor hospital technicians, trainers, and leaders on resources and adult learning practices.
• Support growth goals and contribute to Thrive’s clinical skills pathways.
