Thrive Pet Healthcare seeks a Regional Veterinary Technician Training Manager to provide training, mentorship, and support across Thrive hospitals. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a credentialed veterinary technician.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, leadership, or management roles.
• Must possess exceptional veterinary technician skills and knowledge base.
• Current or previous proven contributor of a well-functioning, highly effective team.
• Demonstrates expertise in competency-based training in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates experience in servant leadership, mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a high degree of Emotional Intelligence (EI).
• Solution oriented.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
• Passion for veterinary medicine and commitment to improving quality of medicine and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Identify skill gaps, training needs, and priorities, and coordinate regional hospital support plans.
• Provide leaders with tools, training, and feedback for onboarding, training, and upskilling plans.
• Deliver coaching, mentorship, and professional development support to Veterinary Technicians, Assistants, trainers, and leaders.
• Mentor hospital leaders and trainers on resources and best adult learning practices.
• Support progression through Thrive's clinical skills and knowledge pathways and growth goals.
• Promote a culture of learning, psychological safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure training initiatives align with Thrive standards, medical protocols, and regional priorities.
• Provide staffing, workflow, and operational improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor, document, and communicate training activities and outcomes.
• Contribute to Technician Advisory Council meetings and projects.
• Maintain expertise in veterinary medicine and adult learning to support excellence.
• Model best practices in patient care, safety, and team effectiveness.
