Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Regional Veterinary Technician Trainer to support hospital teams in the Hill Country Region. This role partners with regional leaders and the National Technician Director to drive skill development, onboarding, and standardization of medical care.

Travel across San Antonio, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, and Austin is required up to 80%. The position emphasizes mentorship, coaching, and continuous improvement in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician with 4–6 years of clinical experience.
• Eligible to transfer credentials to Texas (CVT, LVT, RVT or LVMT).
• Experience in training, leadership or management roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify skill gaps and training priorities with leadership.
• Provide tools and feedback for onboarding and upskilling plans.
• Deliver coaching and professional development across the region.
• Mentor hospital technicians and trainers on resources and best practices.
• Support growth through Thrive's clinical skills pathways.
