Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group is seeking an Area Manager to lead operations across multiple veterinary hospitals. You will drive growth, uphold regulatory compliance, and champion cultural well-being while managing hospital administrators and practice managers.

Travel regionally, onsite presence at hospitals, and collaboration with regional directors will be key. Strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-site operations management in veterinary or healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive growth while ensuring compliance.
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort with dashboards and reporting.
• Experience with practice management systems (ezyVet preferred).

Responsibilities

• Be present in assigned hospitals at least 4 days per week and coach leadership.
• Develop local market plans to increase client acquisition and revenue per visit.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Oversight of compliance with policies, OSHA standards, and records requirements.
• Lead training, onboarding, and leadership development across hospitals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, IT, Finance and Medical boards to execute initiatives.
