Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group seeks a Regional Veterinary Medical Director to provide strategic medical leadership across multiple hospitals in the region. You will mentor veterinarians, drive clinical excellence, and partner with hospital leadership to improve patient care and operations.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience required.
Active veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain licensure in the region).
Leadership or multi-site oversight experience preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel regionally on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic medical leadership across multiple hospitals within an assigned region.
Mentor veterinarians and drive clinical excellence across hospitals.
Partner with hospital leadership to improve operational performance and patient care.
Oversee doctor productivity and monitor KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement data-driven plans to enhance hospital performance and efficiency.
