Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group is seeking an Area Manager to drive growth and operational excellence across a portfolio of veterinary hospitals. You will lead in-hospital operations with data-driven management, championchange initiatives, and uphold Lakefield’s policies and culture.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, this role requires regional travel and onsite leadership at hospitals, with a minimum of four days per week on-site and occasional evenings/weekends for critical

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-site operations management experience in veterinary or healthcare.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Data-driven with proficiency in Excel or Sheets and dashboard tools.

Responsibilities

• Be present in assigned hospitals at least 4 days per week.
• Lead hospital leadership coaching and policy adherence.
• Build local market plans to increase new client acquisition and revenue per visit.
• Coordinate community events once per quarter.
• Optimize appointment templates and throughput while maintaining care quality.
• Manage hours of operation and staffing for profitability.
• Support recruitment and staffing for growth.
• Participate in annual budgeting for each hospital.
