Job summary

Trupanion is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Vet Channel (Great Lakes) to lead field strategy and partner growth across multi-territory veterinary networks. This role focuses on increasing hospital engagement, same-store growth, and high-quality lead generation, reporting to the VP of Veterinary Growth.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, coaching-driven environment with strong relationship skills and a track record of exceeding regional targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading distributed sales teams or multi-region operations.
• 5+ years building B2B partnerships (veterinary industry preferred).
• Proven ability to achieve or exceed territory sales goals.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics), route planning tools (e.g., Portatour), and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau).
• Strong coaching and performance management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field strategy to drive revenue and partnerships in the Great Lakes region.
• Coach Territory Partners to improve hospital enrollment performance.
• Maintain relationships with veterinary hospitals and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct frequent in-field visits (60–70% travel) to develop and evaluate regional opportunities.
• Monitor performance data to identify trends and optimize sales effectiveness.
