Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive associate engagement, experience, and development across the Great Lakes region, including Nashville, Detroit, and Indianapolis. You will lead Field Directors, shape strategic priorities, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional medical care and client service.

The role requires heavy travel, leadership of leaders, and the ability to build a high-performing regional team while ensuring compliance and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Business Administration or equivalent.
• 10 years of multi-location management experience.
• Five years of experience leading managers of managers.
• Prior experience leading multiple markets with variable complexity is preferred.
• Healthcare background (veterinary healthcare, human or pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Motivate and lead Field Directors to develop high performing teams delivering high quality medical care, client service and business results.
• Manage the profitability and finances of assigned region to maximize growth and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support practice goals and priorities.
• Conduct strategic planning, including real estate strategy and care models, to promote future success.
• Develop Field Directors to teach, coach and train hospital leaders and associates.
• Develop effective communication with associates, clients, field leadership and Central Team Support.
• Maintain talent pipelines and retention across the region and markets.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, policies, and laws; maintain safe and clean hospitals.
• Cultivate partnerships with leadership and CTS for collaboration.
