Job summary

Mercantile Bank of Michigan is seeking a Treasury Sales Officer to support the Mid-Michigan market. The role offers office-based flexibility across Mt. Pleasant, Traverse City, Cadillac, and nearby areas.

You will develop client relationships and tailor Treasury Management solutions to improve cash flow and efficiency. Responsibilities include driving new business, presenting proposals, and coordinating with Commercial Bankers and Branch Managers to grow treasury revenue and deposits.

Qualifications

• Three years of banking experience, Treasury Management preferred.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and technology.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• CTP designation is a plus for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and achieve sales goals across the Mid-Michigan market.
• Understand customer needs and recommend Treasury Management solutions.
• Prepare and present customer proposals, including pricing and analysis, and conduct Treasury Reviews.
• Collaborate with Commercial Bankers and Branch Managers to support retention and referrals.
