Job summary

Fairway Management (FWM) seeks roaming Maintenance Techs to support multiple apartment communities across the region. You will perform routine maintenance, rough carpentry, painting, and basic repairs while maintaining curb appeal and regulatory compliance.

This role involves regular travel and possible travel expense reimbursement. Ideal candidates have HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills, plus EPA certifications, a high school diploma, and 5 years of multifamily or

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
HVAC EPA Type II Certification.
1–2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

Travel daily within the region to support maintenance needs.
Prepare for state agency and investor inspections; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
Lead make-ready processes with unit turns: painting, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning.
Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks.
Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls.
Assist with maintaining exceptional curb appeal and relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
