Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee Transportation Operations at multiple sites in a defined region, including Phoenix, AZ. You will drive process improvements and motivate teams to meet strict deadlines in a fast growth environment.

Responsibilities include leading Transportation Area Managers, ensuring safety, quality and customer experience, and developing staff with coaching and succession planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Transportation Area Managers across sites to streamline logistics within each operation.
• Ensure safety, quality, performance and customer experience for the region.
• Meet and exceed operational goals; plan, forecast, and coach staff; share best practices.
