Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Area Managers to support operations nationwide from the New York region. This role focuses on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity while leading a team of Transportation Associates to fulfill delivery commitments.

Responsibilities include collaborating with site leadership on metrics, implementing standard work, coaching hourly staff, and driving Lean process improvements to accelerate change at internet speed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis.
• Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership.
• Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
