Job summary

WSP is seeking a Regional Project Delivery Director – Transportation to lead commercial strategy, pricing discipline, and delivery performance across the New England region. This role oversees proposals through completion, ensuring margin preservation and governance aligned with corporate strategy and client expectations.

The position can sit in any major Transportation office in the New England Region, with travel within the region likely.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in project delivery and/or enterprise leadership of project delivery.
• Strong understanding of contractual frameworks and project lifecycles.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Operations, Finance, and Business Development.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for commercial strategy and pricing governance.
• Own and lead pricing strategy for priority pursuits.
• Set strategic vision for the delivery function and oversee cross-functional initiatives.
• Oversee the implementation of project delivery standards and alignment across markets.
• Direct enterprise programs for process improvement, compliance, and tool adoption.
• Support go/no-go decisions, bid and contract reviews, and readiness reviews.
• Engage directly in complex pursuits and negotiations as needed.
• Support client engagement during negotiations while reinforcing WSP’s position.
• Identify emerging commercial risks and opportunities through active reviews.
• Coach leaders to strengthen regional commercial capability.
