Job summary

Colonial Life within Unum Group seeks a regional Training and Development leader to drive onboarding and upskilling across territories. You will partner with sales leaders and home office stakeholders to implement strategies, tools, and programs that accelerate performance.

This role delivers virtual and in-market training, identifies training needs, and crafts targeted approaches to improve new sales, recruiting, broker development, and adoption of enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in education, business, training and development or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• 7+ years of formal training delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 60-80% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead Core Team Onboarding: design and execute onboarding for new core team members.
• Train and upskill Territory Sales Trainers for regional delivery.
• Champion strategic initiatives and promote adoption in training forums.
• Master and transfer knowledge on enterprise capabilities and initiatives; train TSTs and field leaders.
• Launch training programs and curricula across the region.
