Job summary

Colonial Life, part of Unum Group, seeks a Training and Development leader to drive onboarding and regional training for its sales teams. You will partner with regional leaders and home office stakeholders to implement strategies and programs that accelerate performance.

The role involves delivering virtual and in-market training, identifying needs, and mentoring Territory Sales Trainers, with up to 60–80% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in education, business, training and development or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in training delivery.
• 7+ years of formal training delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Core Team Onboarding and design onboarding processes for new team members.
• Train and upskill Territory Sales Trainers across the region.
• Champion strategic initiatives and promote tools in training forums.
• Master and transfer knowledge on new enterprise capabilities and initiatives.
• Launch training programs and roll out new content and curricula regionally.
• Assess territory performance and training execution to identify gaps and improvements.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions aligned with the training path.
• Ensure consistent execution of foundational core team systems.
