Job summary

Colonial Life, part of Unum Group, seeks a regional Training and Development leader to drive onboarding, trainer coaching, and rollout of enterprise capabilities across the territory. You will partner with sales leaders and home office teams to design curricula, deliver programs, and ensure adoption of new tools and processes.

You’ll identify development needs, mentor Territory Sales Trainers, and lead scalable training across regions while balancing travel requirements with regional business

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in education, business, training and development or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in training delivery.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and change-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding with regional and enterprise alignment.
• Develop and deliver ongoing training for Territory Sales Trainers.
• Promote adoption of strategic investments, tools and resources.
• Train TSTs and field leaders to ensure effective implementation.
• Launch training curricula and learning experiences across the region.
• Assess training impact and drive continuous improvements.
• Mentor new core team members and support onboarding.
• Travel as required to support regional initiatives.
