Job summary

WSP is seeking a Regional TOC Operations Manager to lead a 24/7 transportation operations center across Virginia regions. You will manage daily operations, lead supervisors and staff, ensure contract and SOP compliance, and drive continuous improvement in incident management, weather operations, and ITS monitoring.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation operations or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong leadership and liaison skills with VDOT and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of transportation operations experience.
• Experience supervising a 24/7 operations center.
• Experience managing transportation operations or traffic management centers.
• Experience leading supervisors and operations personnel.
• Traffic Incident Management experience.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily regional TOC operations 24/7/365.
• Lead TOC supervisors, operators, analysts, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, KPIs, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with VDOT, partner agencies, and internal management.
• Develop AWPs and performance reports; drive continuous improvement.
