Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Traffic Monitoring Operations Center (TOC) Floor Manager in Virginia to lead a regional team on TOC floor operations. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and coordinate staff throughout the area to maintain efficient traffic management and incident response.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with eight years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination. On-site work in Chesterfield, VA with strict background checks and 24/7 on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Background checks (state/federal) and CHRC required; pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee TOC floor staff initial and recurrent training programs.
• Review resumes, interviews, and recommend for hire/advancement opportunities.
• Review and develop TOC manual, technical memos, and training materials.
• Oversee regional TOC Floor Operations training and staff audits.
• Coordinate and lead regional TOC floor staff.
• Ensure daily TOC operations efficiency in traffic management, traveler information, incident management, and signal operations.
• Participate in performance assessments and floor staff audits.
• Oversee control room equipment status and system reporting maintenance.
