Job summary

Dal-Tile, the leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States and a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Sales Representative to join the team. The role involves conducting weekly sales calls, preparing reports, and analyzing regional markets for top accounts.

You will increase market share by servicing existing customers and expanding the account base through strategic outreach, including cold calling, while maintaining company margin goals and providing excellent customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Computer skills include Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• 4 years of selling experience.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly sales calls servicing existing customers and cold calling potential customers (average 4-5 per week).
• Prepare weekly Sales and Call reports.
• Develop monthly strategy for sales calls and plan travel calendar.
• Conduct area market analysis of top accounts and top dealers/contractors/builders.
• Research area market data to tailor sales strategy and product mix.
• Grow market share by increasing sales while maintaining product margins.
• Place displays via negotiations and follow up with customers.
