Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 is seeking a Supervisor Region Operations to oversee technicians across service areas, ensuring high-quality residential and business communications on a profitable basis while upholding policies and directives. You will build and maintain a skilled, customer-focused team delivering Forged Fiber 37 products and services that exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience managing telecom teams.
• Experience with employee development, training and mentoring in a union environment.
• Proficient with Excel, email, Word and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of residential and business services, Local Network processes, and Forged Fiber products.
• Experience with splicing/construction in the telecom industry.
• Experience with Contractor relations.
• Ability to consultatively interact with customers and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as the single point of contact between Forged Fiber and Contractors to resolve issues.
• Lead training, coaching and development of employees with regard to new processes and quality standards.
• Lead a team of technicians who meet attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union to achieve a win-win working relationship.
• Recognize and reward successes; drive continuous improvement.
• Motivate team for maximum performance.
