Job summary

Bluewater Hayes Inc. is expanding its training capabilities in the Western United States and seeks a Regional Trainer to cover UT, CO, WA, and OR.

You will serve as the technical voice of the brand, delivering hands-on training to contractors, distributors, and manufacturer representatives in a four-state region. The role requires frequent overnight travel and collaboration with product engineering to translate heat pump water heater features into practical field content.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on HVAC/refrigeration experience.
Background in engineering, technical product support, or product management.
Experience with indirect sales channels: wholesalers, distributors, OEM partners.
Willingness to travel overnight frequently across a four-state territory.
Strong communication skills in technical and non-technical contexts.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on training to contractors, distributors, and manufacturer representatives.
Support factory startups, field installations, commissioning, and equipment testing as regional technical lead.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live installations.
Collaborate with product engineering to develop field-ready training content.
Collect usability feedback from the field and relay insights to product engineering.
