Job summary

Cooper&Hunter USA is seeking an experienced Regional Technical Trainer to support and grow our technical training program across the United States. The ideal candidate has direct HVAC industry experience with manufacturers and strong knowledge of ductless inverter systems, capable of translating field knowledge into practical training for contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Professional experience working for an HVAC manufacturer.
• Strong technical experience with ductless inverter HVAC systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC installation, commissioning, service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of inverter-driven equipment and controls.
• Experience in technical training, field technical support, applications, service, or related HVAC technical role.
• Ability to travel approximately 70% and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical training for HVAC contractors, technicians, distributors, and internal teams.
• Conduct training focused on ductless inverter systems, including installation, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and application.
• Develop and improve technical training courses, presentations, hands-on exercises, and supporting materials.
• Evaluate existing training programs and proactively recommend improvements.
• Identify technical knowledge gaps and training needs based on feedback and field experience.
• Travel to distributor locations, contractor training events, industry events, and other CooperHunter activities.
