Job summary

Weil-McLain, a leading North American brand of hydronic heating systems, seeks a Technical Training Manager to deliver regional technical training, support regional and territory sales teams, and train distributors and contractors on new products and revisions.

You will develop complex seminars, facilitate sales opportunities, and coordinate with Product Management, Technical Service and Engineering while traveling up to 50% to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with mechanical and electrical boiler installations
• Five years in hydronics or field sales
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• CRM tools experience for data capture and reporting
• Experience communicating technical material to diverse groups
• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities
• Team collaboration with engineering and marketing teams
• Ability to travel up to 50% in the field

Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical training support
• Develop and conduct seminars for contractors, distributors, utilities, engineers, and field personnel
• Drive sales process via lead generation and advancing opportunities
• Move leads through the sales funnel
• Coordinate with Product Management, Technical Service, Engineering and Training
• Identify training needs and develop collateral
• Create Weil-McLain School of Better Heating content and train at events
• Provide guidance during customer training meetings and Train-the-Trainer sessions
• Represent as technical expert at tradeshows
• Assist in product liability investigations as needed
