Job summary

Bluewater Hayes Inc. is seeking a Regional Trainer to lead hands-on HVAC and heat pump water heater training across GA, AL, SC, and FL. You will work directly with contractors, distributors, and manufacturer reps to drive product adoption and installation confidence.

This role requires 5+ years in HVAC/refrigeration, a technical background, and comfort with overnight travel. Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field preferred; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on HVAC and/or refrigeration experience (required).
Background in engineering, technical product support, or product management.
Experience with indirect sales channels: wholesalers, buy/sell distributors, OEM partners.
Willingness for frequent overnight travel across GA, AL, SC, and FL.
Strong communicator in both technical and non-technical settings.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on training to contractors, distributors, and manufacturer representatives on heat pump water heating systems across GA, AL, SC, and FL.
Support factory startups, field installations, commissioning, and equipment testing as the regional technical lead.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live installations and be the go-to resource for fast answers.
Collaborate with product engineering to translate features and specs into field-ready training content.
Collect usability feedback and share insights with engineering to inform future development.
