Job summary

MPI America, headquartered near San Jose, CA, seeks a U.S. Eastern Regional Technical Sales Engineer to drive proactive customer relationships and sales in the semiconductor sector. You will work with the Regional Sales Manager to enhance order acquisition and deliver technical solutions.

The role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem solving, and sales acumen, with up to 50% travel within the Americas and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year hardware-focused technical degree or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor industry sales preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with AST customer base and identify opportunities.
• Own customer relationships and sales development for specific accounts.
• Serve as technical SME for wafer probe/test applications and solutions.
• Support external Manufacturer’s Representatives to complement selling efforts.
• Proactively communicate with customers via phone and digital channels.
