Job summary

Leading Semiconductor Test & Automation Company in San Jose seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead customer growth across the region while serving as a trusted technical and business advisor. This role combines engineering insight with proven success in semiconductor test equipment, production testing, or datacenter technologies.

You will lead a team of direct reports, drive revenue, and influence both customer and internal roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field required.
• 8+ years in capital equipment sales or related tech industries.
• Experience with semiconductor test environments and ATE.
• Proven ability to drive long-cycle design-in sales.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports, setting clear performance expectations and ensuring strong execution against regional sales goals.
• Manage and expand relationships within strategic semiconductor and datacenter customer accounts.
• Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
• Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through forecasting, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
• Coordinate global sales strategies across customer organizations and internal teams.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
• Partner with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align customer needs with future product development.
• Drive accurate forecasting, quoting, and booking activities.
• Serve as the voice of the customer internally while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
