The role requires a Sunday through Thursday 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM schedule, reside in the Houston area, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. Eligible for a quarterly bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of medical practices and terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Surgical scheduling experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a Sunday–Thursday schedule and adapt to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the scheduling system, enter data, and read daily schedules.
• Set daily schedules, oversee operations, and communicate with providers, surgeons, and facilities with minimal supervision.
• Prepare daily summaries and check-outs independently.
• Flag staffing issues to leadership and coordinate call trades as needed.
• Manage PTO requests and post cases per requirements.
• Coordinate next-day schedules with physician leaders and maintain call rotations.
