Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS may be required per practice standard.

Responsibilities

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes and other clinical information for treatment.
• Prepares documentation for Medicare/BNP notices and follows procedures.
• Determines OR time and coordinates scheduling, anesthesia coverage, and required records.
• Ensures scheduling packets are correct and timely.
• Obtains authorizations and scans notes into the system.
• Collects physician and procedure fees.
• Verifies physician credentialing before scheduling.
• Coordinates provider clinics and schedules, including meetings and CME.
• Cross-trains as back up to other roles.
• Performs general duties and maintains surgery logs.
