Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support OEC Imaging surgery equipment in the New Mexico/El Paso TX region. You will install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime while delivering excellent customer service.

You will maintain service records, manage parts, and collaborate with sales and other engineers to grow accounts. On-site, with a company vehicle and regional travel, this role can require after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience servicing electronic medical equipment
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent military/training background
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot GEHC Surgery (OEC Imaging) equipment
• Provide customer support and ensure high satisfaction
• Maintain accurate service records and manage parts
• Collaborate with sales teams and other engineers for account growth and service excellence
• Travel within New Mexico / El Paso TX region; onsite role with company vehicle
