Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Engineer II to perform preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on XR/CT/NM equipment within hospitals across southern IL and MO. The role is remote with relocation assistance and travel to sites as needed.

You will service imaging equipment, maintain regulatory compliance, document all work, and build strong customer relationships. A 6+ year background in electrical equipment and 2+ years imaging service, plus a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

• Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, military education or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
• 2+ years of experience servicing Imaging equipment
• Valid Driver's License
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship
• Background checks and compliance with customer access policies including immunizations and drug tests

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate preventive maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured, including ordering of parts.
