Job summary

The Field Service Engineer 1 at GE HealthCare is responsible for on-time preventive maintenance across imaging modalities, learning troubleshooting and installation techniques, and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.

This role covers the Little Rock/Central AR service region with five 8-hour shifts, supporting ultrasound and x-ray equipment and collaborating with more experienced engineers onsite and remotely.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or military equivalent; internship programs acceptable.
• Experience with Web apps and Microsoft Office is expected.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-time, accurate Preventative Maintenance across modalities.
• Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Maintain customer service records and parts orders; manage cycle times.
• Escalate issues per GEHC processes and coordinate with regional support.
• Engage with account teams to identify potential service opportunities and revenue programs.
