Job summary

BB Imaging, a sonographer-led organization in the Dallas region, seeks an experienced Regional Sonographer to support clinics across the Dallas Metro Area and help expand into new markets.

You will work across diverse settings, provide clinical leadership, review charts and imaging, and contribute to patient care quality while developing partnerships with new clients.

Qualifications

• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty required.
• Minimum 2 years of MFM/high-risk OB sonography experience.
• Flexibility to work across multiple Dallas metro area clinics.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics.
• HIPAA compliance and EMR familiarity.
• Excellent communication with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures.
• Support diverse clinics across Dallas metro area.
• Review patient charts and medical history.
• Generate reports for physician documentation.
• Identify fetal anomalies and communicate findings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
• Cover a variety of clinical settings; including low-risk and MFM sites, outreach clinics.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 2+ yrs of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience
• Flexible to work across clinic locations in Dallas Metro Area
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
• Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
